Code of Conduct
At Vardhman Mahavir College, all students, faculty, and staff are expected to uphold values of integrity, discipline, and mutual respect. The following Code of Conduct outlines the principles that guide behavior within the college community:
- Discipline & Decorum: All students must maintain discipline and proper conduct both inside and outside the classroom to ensure a peaceful academic environment.
- Regular Attendance: Students are required to attend classes regularly. Poor attendance may lead to disqualification from exams or other academic activities.
- Respect for All: Every individual on campus must be treated with dignity—respect for teachers, staff, and fellow students is mandatory.
- Prohibition of Ragging: Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and punishable as per UGC and government regulations.
- Clean and Green Campus: Students must contribute to keeping the campus clean, green, and pollution-free. Littering and damage to campus property are not tolerated.
- Use of Mobile Phones: The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in classrooms, libraries, and during academic sessions.
- Academic Integrity: Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or academic dishonesty is unacceptable and will result in disciplinary action.
- Dress Code & Identity Cards: Students should wear appropriate attire and must carry their identity cards at all times while on campus.
- Substance-Free Campus: The use or possession of tobacco, alcohol, or any intoxicating substances is strictly banned on campus.
- Participation & Conduct: Students are encouraged to actively participate in academic and cultural activities while maintaining respectful behavior during events.
