The Vision of the College is to provide higher education to the girls and boys and empowers them to pursuit their dreams. In fulfilment of college vision, the college is committed to provide higher education to the students in its vicinity giving equal opportunities to all boys and girls students, equip the studentscommunity with academic, social, scientific and spiritual values. We are very much aware of our responsibility towards our students and do our very best to provide a most friendly and growth-oriented ambience for them. We are implementing maximum efforts in our capacity to ensure good standards that would secure them a good human being in tomorrow’s challenging world. The vision behind the establishment of this college is to serve the knowledge with wisdom at our best efforts.
The vision of establishing the College in the rural area where most of the dropped-out girls & boys and 12th pass out girls & boys students and the students who are financially deprived and who do only household chores and the have less source for fulfilment of their education amenities.
The management along with all the faculties always focuses on parting quality education with students, so that the boys and girls basically come of rural environment must achieve success in the race of competition. Since the very beginning days of every new session, students are taken with priority so that our vision may come true in words and deeds. Just after introductory classes, the heads and teachers begin to have a minute care over students’ study and conduct. If something is found wrong, such students are immediately called and counseled. During counseling, the teachers came across the weak points of the students. It is notes in the written and the solution is found out through discussion. Sometimes, if it is needed, parents are also called and the teachers through discussion with them, try to find out the proper way so that such a student can concentrate him or herself towards his or her study. Sometimes even after all efforts no way is seen to desire any positive comes out, strict steps are also taken.
As most of our students come of poor classes and weaker sections of society, so the purchasing capacity of books etc. of their guardians is very low. Indeed, guardians are not able to purchase essential books too. So, the library committee has made special arrangement for such students who are interested in study are allowed to study books of their choice in the reading room. Besides, they can carry books with them after getting them issued.
The students of science are provided sufficient lab activities. There is proper arrangement of practical classes in the college routine.
Live talks between the teachers and the students in tutorial classes are very useful for students. In fact, in tutorial classes they become able to make themselves extrovert which is very helpful to them in the fields of practical life.
Students are often sent of educational trips considering excursion as a part of education. Periodical tests or class tests are also useful for students. The teachers come to know about the weak points of the students and further try how they can remove the weakness of the students away.
Finally, it can be said what vision of our college has fixed, every member at his level try to achieve the best by helping, guiding and co-operating with the students.
The primary problem in rural area is the economic problem. The guardians of a good number of students are not able to pay the tuition fee and other relevant fee regularly. It causes to increase the number of drop out students. The college management committee considering as a major problem and to check out the number of drop out students has authorised the principal to grant maximum monetary assistance to the students. For this a sound fund is allotted in college budget through which the students of the weaker sections are provided maximum economic funds. It is amazing that since when this system has been adopted and implemented, the number of drop out students has been decreasing.
To go much interest in students toward study the co-curriculum activities are equally important. Fortunately, our college has a large campus surrounded with 7 feet high boundary in which different courts and playgrounds have been set up. Earlier it has been stated that our college has a district level cricket academy. Naturally there is an upto mark measurement cricket ground besides separate courts for football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, kho-kho, kabaddi have been prepared. Students are given enough opportunity to play the games of their choice. The physical training instructor and coaches are available on the grounds to coach them properly. Karom, ludo, chess etc. have been improved and facilitated as the indoor games. Both the girl and boy students are provided by indoor games in their common rooms where they play and enjoy during the leisure hours.
Newspapers and magazines are the good sources of the knowledge to make the strength wakeful in the field of competition and career building. Different types of magazines and e-magazines, state and national newspapers in English and Hindi are brought regularly in the college library. Some selected newspapers especially to employment also brought in the library. Students are encouraged to avail maximum advantage of these articles.
In this way, the management with all the teachers devote its maximum efforts to make the students to be successful in their careers and life.in a brief, the college takes every possible step to gets its vision fulfil.
